My cat is lip smacking and scratching her ear, what should I do?

My cat has recently started smacking her lips and seems to becoming more prevalent. She is also scratching at her ear

There could be a few things going on with Dax. It could be she is nauseous leading to the lip smacking, and the scratching at her ear could be due to an ear infection. Ear infections in cats can be caused by ear mites, yeast, or bacteria. I would take her into the vet in the morning. The vet can diagnose what is causing her symptoms, and can treat her.
