My puppy has diarrhea and suspected tapeworms. Can I wait for the vet?

I’m almost positive he has tapeworm.. intermittent diarrhea 10 days... became steady since yesterday. Gave him chew pepto and ckn n rice since.. / eating and drinking. seeing yellow n white rice kernel bits in his stool. All vets are closed til Tuesday. He was neutered last week at a shelter ( no blood/ stool taken). Have no car. Looks good, but whines. Can this wait til Tuesday? Any advice on diet/ over the counter meds? Pet's info: Dog | Labradoodle | Male | neutered | 3 months and 25 days old | 18 lbs

Poor Raphael. It could be he has tapeworms. Keep feeding him the bland diet of chicken and rice, and it's fine to wait until Tuesday to have him seen as long as he is eating and drinking. Best of luck.
