My hamster fought another and is badly injured. What should I do?

I have a hamster ( sugar ) and this other hamster fought with him and now he has a bloody nose , paws, and a chunk of skin was ripped out ( the size of my pinkie finger ) what should I do. Pet's info: Small Animal | Hamster | Male | 6 months and 9 days old | 0.6 lbs

I recommend bringing him to your veterinarian to have him examined, have the wounds cleaned, and he can be given medication for pain and antibiotics. Any bite wound has the potential to become grossly infected and abscessed, which is very painful and can require surgery to resolve. In the meantime, you can try gently wiping any discharge away from the wounds with a damp cloth. I hope this is helpful!
