What is k-calorie? I see it on my dog’s food bag label.

K-Calorie stands for kilocalorie and is the unit used in pet food to denote the amount of energy found in the diet. It is essentially means the same thing though as 'normal' calorie that is used for human foods. Please post again if this does not answer your question.
