My cat's tail has a painful swollen bump. Is it a bite? Should I worry?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 9 months and 23 days old

Hello, I just noticed a swollen bump on my cats tail, she gets very crabby if it’s touched. It feels like there may be a cut or scratch on the area. I’m assuming it may be from a bite from one of my other cats she fights/plays with. Both are indoor cats, and spayed. should I be concerned or is this something that will go away on its own? I don’t have any pictures because you can’t see anything looking at it.

If Cali fights with other cats, she could have an abcsess on her tail from a cat bite. I would be concerned because it’s bothering her, so I would take her into a vet today or tomorrow to have it examined, diagnosed, and treated. I hope this helps!
