Why is my kitten constipated, not eating, and has a butt wound?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

My kitten cannot able to poop freely & also she's not eating properly. I could able to notice a large wound in her butt. I took her to a vet and he said it's due to motion problem. He injected her with some medicines and also made her with some drips. He suggested me a syrup named durpholac to cure her from the disease. But I'm not sure whether its due to motion problem or other infection. Please suggest me a proper diet and also the cause and treatment for the mentioned symptoms.

I think the medication prescribed is correct - it is a laxative. This will keep her from straining to defecate which is likely why she has this problem. This looks like a mild prolapse of the anus. Canned cat food is recommended as that is more easily digested with a high water content. If she has not been dewormed I would do that as well.
