My 2-week-old kittens were given dog dewormer. Is it safe?

Hi there, I rescued to baby kittens, approx 2 weeks old. I have a surrogate mama taking them on right now. The gentleman who reached out for help was giving them Interceptor Plus Orange, for Canines. I’m unsure of the amount. But from my understanding 2 week old kittens should never receive any parasite control... I’m just worried this has caused damage to them in some sort? Are they going to be okay from this? I am unsure of the amount he gave them, an entire pill (0.9-3.6kg).

This should not be given to kittens. First off, it's labeled for dogs only, plus it's only safe in puppies at least six weeks of age. Do not give this again to the kittens, and have them checked out by a vet in the morning to make sure they are ok. In terms of deworming, it's safe for them to have Panacur. I hope this helps!
