Pet's info: Dog | Basset Hound | Male | neutered | 62 lbs
Hi, I have an 11 y/o basset hound who has a red, clot-looking bump to his right eye which just came up x 3 days ago. He usually has eye allergies around this time, so I didn’t think much of it initially. His sclera is slightly red as well and mild eye drainage (clear/white in color; not green). I can’t recall any recent traumas to his face either. Is this a big concern and should be followed-up immediately?

This should be followed up immediately. Any eye problem needs to be seen by a vet promptly because leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. Please take Baloo into a vet now. As an aside, I LOVE Basset Hounds! I have on myself :-)
