My dog won't eat, growls, and acts weird. Is it an upset stomach?

Hi I'm dog sitting for a 10 y/o newfundlund mix who is exhibiting strange behaviour. She usually eats just fine but after going up to her dinner tonight she ate a few mouthfuls then sat down and stared at a wall, growling at me if I got too close and refusing to eat anymore. This has only been going on for about an hour. Any advice? Is it just indigestion? I can hear her stomach rumbling and she's occasionally shifting her weight back and forth.

It sounds like she could have an upset stomach. I'd get in touch with her owners, and let them know that you are seeing this behavior. I'd also tell them you'd advised to have her seen by a vet in the morning if this behavior continues. I hope this helps.
