Hello. Dogs have excellent memories, for the good & the bad, but they also have a tremendous ability to forgive & move on. But their memories do work differently than ours for some things. That is why dogs are just as happy to see us after 5 minutes as after we have been gone 5 days. It is remarkable. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
