My old dog has dementia, arthritis, hip pain. Time to say goodbye?

Pet's info: Dog | Estrela Mountain Dog | Male | 15 years and 2 months old | 87 lbs

I have a 15 year old dog he has dementia,arthritis ,and displacia in one hip .he could walk on his hind lrgs up until 2 weeks ago.he can stand for a momoent on his hips but then needs help i have a hip harness to help him walk he seems to need or want to walk all day which i help him as i ssid he will walk for 5 to 10 min and then i lsy him down on a soft bed and he sleeps for 30,45 or an hour then wants up again for another walk yhen sleeps again .the pain meds seem to be working without them h

Poor Ben. It sounds like his quality of life is poor at the moment. I'm glad the pain meds are working, but I would speak to his vet about his quality of life and if it may be time to say goodbye. I'm sorry.
