My old dog has dementia, arthritis, hip pain. Time to say goodbye?

I have a 15 year old dog he has dementia,arthritis ,and displacia in one hip .he could walk on his hind lrgs up until 2 weeks ago.he can stand for a momoent on his hips but then needs help i have a hip harness to help him walk he seems to need or want to walk all day which i help him as i ssid he will walk for 5 to 10 min and then i lsy him down on a soft bed and he sleeps for 30,45 or an hour then wants up again for another walk yhen sleeps again .the pain meds seem to be working without them h. Pet's info: Dog | Estrela Mountain Dog | Male | 15 years and 2 months old | 87 lbs

Poor Ben. It sounds like his quality of life is poor at the moment. I'm glad the pain meds are working, but I would speak to his vet about his quality of life and if it may be time to say goodbye. I'm sorry.
