My puppy swam after Frontline Plus. Is it effective? Should I reapply?

I just put frontline plus on my 8 month old puppy, within 20 minutes he ran to the pond and took a quick dip, is it none effective now, and if so, is it safe to apply another tube on him

Hi there. I should have absorbed before he went swimming. I wouldn't apply another dose at this point because overdose can make them sick.
