Why is my dog throwing up all night? Is it stress or illness?

What are some possible reasons, Bailey would be throwing up all night? My sister was up until 5 in the morning cleaning up vomit. I was away from her for a week. Do dogs get homesick? Would she throw up all night because she misses me or what? Or could she have ingested some kind of poison. I live on a big colony with 155 people and she runs around pretty much all day offleash. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 7 months and 25 days old | 12 lbs

I am sorry to hear about Bailey! We can occsaionally see pets develop GI problems as a result of stress but this usually results in diarrhea, not vomiting. IF she was vomiting multiple times in one night I would be worried aobut things like ingestion of a foreign object causing a blockage, ingestion of a foreign substance causing GI irritation, infection, pancreatitis, and more.
