I am sorry to hear about Paris! In an unpsayed female we do worry about pregnancy as a possible cause of abdominal enlargement. This can sometimes change a pet's behavior and make them more vocal. Other possibilities could include weight gain, fluid in the abdomen, enlargement of an organ in the abdomen, or a tumor. Hair loss/excessive cleaning can be caused by a variety of issues as well, often due to an allergy (to fleas, environmental allergens, foods) or can be behavioral. I would recommend having Paris examined by a veterinarian to try to determine the cause of these issues.
