Why is my senior dog losing weight, having diarrhea, and trouble walking?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | unspayed | 10 years and 5 months old | 75 lbs

Hello my dpg who is 11 years old has recently qithin the last month started rapidly loosing weight as well as not havomg a solid bowel movement. And wothin the past few weeks os not able tp walk up steps and is javomf trouble walking l/standing for mpre than a few minutes. Is this because of old age or is there something serious going on?

Her symptoms could be due to any number of things: * intestinal parasites (worms) * endocrine disease (Cushings, thyroid, Addisons, etc) * liver, kidney or other organ failure/disease * cancer * etc...... Her symptoms sound serious and I think you need to have her examined by your veterinarian. Weeks of weight loss and diarrhea is not good. Even if the vet finds that it is just old age there are medications she can be given to help her walk better and be more comfortable.
