My cat recently went through surgery, is it normal that he has a fever?

I am sorry to hear about your concern for Linus. We would not expect a fever after surgery, so if you think he has a fever I would recommend an examination at a veterinarian as soon as possible. You can follow the following directions to take his temperature at home: https://www.petcoach.co/article/how-to-take-your-pet-s-temperature-in-7-easy-steps/ Normal cat temperature in a cat can range from 100 to 102.5, so if his temperature is above 102.5 I would contact his vet!
