My 2-year-old Shih Tzu won't eat, only drinks water. What's wrong?

Hi doc. My shih tzu is 2 year old and from morning she is not having any food. I tried pedigree and after that some rice with egg. But she is just drinking water and not touching the food. Can you suggest me somthing please. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 2 months old | 11.5 lbs

If she isn't eating anything I would call your vet and have her looked at. They may be able to provide you with an antacid dose. It may nothing to be worried about but it could also be the start of something more. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
