My dog has a painful bump inside his mouth. What should I do?

Hello, my dog is a 2.5yr old male German Shepherd and has this bump on the inside of his mouth. It’s causing him a lot of pain. He won’t let me touch his mouth or nose. I just need some advice

Poor guy. This swelling looks quite irritating indeed. It could be a blister since he is so young and due to the way it looks. I would recommend offering soft food only to Bryan Kraber to prevent further irritation of the area. Also a water additive can be used to help flush his mouth and keep the area from getting infected. If he still seems uncomfortable by tomorrow, then I would schedule a vet appt to have this treated with pet friendly pain medication. Over the counter pain medicine should be avoided in pets due to the high risk of causing acute kidney/liver failure, so its best to consult with your vet if needed. I hope that Bryan's swelling resolves soon! Best wishes and take care.
