Duration of Effectiveness of Terazadone My Bernedoodle is 3 years old and weighs 65 pounds. I have 100mg terazadone pills for him from our vet. We are going on a 5-hour road trip, but he gets anxious in the backseat of the car. Looking for advice as to how much terazadone I should give him i.e., 100 or 150 mg, and will the single dosage administered an hour before we hit the road be enough to keep him calm until we reach our destination.

You need to ask Bernie's vet for the dose for him. Legally, I cannot give the dose for a prescription medication for a dog without seeing him in person. Give your vet a call. The single dose should be enough. Best of luck.
