My hamster just had babies, but they aren't moving. Are they alive?

Pet's info: Small Animal | Hamster | Female | spayed | 5 months and 10 days old | 1lb

Hi what it is my hamster has just given birth to 3 hamsters and I think she has killed one but the other two aren’t moving and she hasn’t moved from her house she keeps nesting and stuffing her mouth with food are these babies still alive

Thanks for reaching out about Nibbles. We can't determine whether the babies are alive or not. You might have to gently disturb the nest and observe the babies for breathing or moving. Do not touch them unless determined dead, to remove, as humane scent on the babies might cause mother to further neglect. I still not sure, the whole cage can be quietly moved and taken to a veterinary clinic for assessment. Good luck.
