My cat miscarried, won't eat/drink, skinny. No vet. What to do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female

My feline cat had a miscarriage on Monday morning and she has refused to eat nor drink anything except water, she is getting skinnier, I wish I could take her to the vet, but there isn't any vet clinic around where I live. Please help. She is 2 yrs old. This is her second time to get pregnant. She has already 2 kittens whom are 8 months old. So this was her second pregnancy. - I love my cat very much and that I am so scared not to see her die while she's suffering for a way to tell me

I'm sorry that this is happening but she needs to be examined by a vet. You must realize that not all problems can be fixed at home. If she had a "miscarriage" then she could still have some retained tissues in her uterus that is making her sick. That cannot be fixed without a vet. We cannot possibly diagnose her over the internet without an in-person examination and more information (besides the fact that it is illegal). We are only here to offer advice. I know you love your cat and because you do, it is your responsibility to seek medical treatment when she is ill. She is going to continue to get pregnant and possibly have issues unless you get her spayed. I strongly recommend you have her spayed once she is back to feeling better.
