My dog's nose is dry. Is it normal, or a sign of discoid lupus?

His nose is getting dry as in photo do you think he has Discoid lupus or starting if discoid lupus? Or this nose is normal? Also I am attaching his eyes photos kindly see his eyes are normal other than conjunctivitis because I dont know why doctor prescribed doxycycline but just looking at eyes

I don't see symptoms of discoid lupus based on these photos. The nose looks normal to me. I don't really see any abnormalities with the eyes either - not even any conjunctivitis. If you are unhappy with your vet's treatment plan you need to either speak to him/her or go to another vet for a second opinion. We cannot diagnose over the internet.
