My new adopted puppy is shy after 3 days. Am I doing something wrong?

my puppy is 3 months old and i got her from a adoption shelter, shes very hesitant around me and my husband. we try to get her to come to us but she just lays down and stares at us. she still wags her tail but her back is sort of arch, am i doing something wrong? its only been 3 days with her. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 3 months and 8 days old | 11 lbs

I recommend giving Ella some time. It can take up to 2 weeks for dogs to get comfortable with their new surroundings. Give her attention, love and play time.
