My dog breathes fast while resting. Should I worry after a bath?

My dog is breathing fast and short breaths just while laying down. Other wise he seems totally normal and happy, though he hasn’t done anything to warrant the shallow breathing. Should I be concerned? He hasn’t been exposed to any new foods, though I did give him a bath for the first time today. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 26 lbs

I would recommend to monitor him closely for the next 4-6hours in case signs become more consistent. The presentation you described should not be a problem at all, especially if there are no other signs with it.
