Dog eye hair loss worsening after flea treatment, what's wrong?

My dog has hair loss around her eye. Vet thought it to be allergic reaction to fleas. Hair loss is getting worse, what should they be checking for now? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 4 months old | 10.8 lbs

Poor Paisley! It could be she has a skin infection or she has mange. Skin scrapings of the area may be a good idea, or a course of antibiotics. I'd take her back into the vet in the morning. I hope this helps!
