Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | 6 years old | 18 lbs
My 6 year old pug has been consistently panting since last night altho the house temp 82F is not so high she would normally do that. Her attitude is normal but I have heard some unusual breathing noises even for a pug. Surgery to remove elong. palate 1yr. ago. caused different breath.sounds. The raspy noises are only when she lays her head down. She has a fan on her but is still consistently panting. It is 100 outside & she starts hyperventillating at vets so could make worse. What should I do?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Sandy. I recommend that she sees her veterinarian. She may have a respiratory infection that is affecting her breathing. You can ask her veterinarian for an anti-anxiety medication for her to take in advance of her appointment if necessary. I hope this information helps!
