Why doesn't my dog play with other dogs? I have tried so many times to try to get him to like other dogs but he just ignores them when they are around. It's like he doesnt know how to play. Do dogs instinctual know how to play or do they need to learn it? Is it too late to "teach him" to play? He is 6 and he really only ever played with his brother when he was a puppy and that's pretty much it. Is there something wrong with him?

There is nothing wrong with him. Some dogs just don't like to play. You cannot force him. They learn how to play as puppies, it is not instinct. If he only had his brother that he played with then maybe he is the only who he is comfortable playing with. I don't think you should concern yourself with teaching him to play. He may get upset if forced and get aggressive instead.
