My new dog from Craigslist is matted and needs a vet. What do I do?

My boyfriend bought mojo from craigslist for mothers day and the owner has yet to give him the vet info. Mojo is micro chip and needs a cut. He has stuff caught in his fur and his fur is matted all throughout. What can I do? He needs to be check out. Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male

Yes, I agree poor Mojo needs a check up and a groom. If he was sold in that condition, I would assume he does not have his vaccines. Take him into a vet today for a health check and discuss getting his vaccines so he can get groomed. Best of luck.
