hi my dog has been licking his urinary area more often than usual and I'm really concerned that he may have been infection that he could pass on to my children. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua (Long Coat) | Male | unneutered

Have Cheese seen by a vet for this issue. As for passing things to your kids, while there are some zoonotic conditions, based on his symptoms, it may be he has a urinary infection which cannot be passed to your children. I’d take him into a vet today. Best of luck.
