My puppy hit her head, has a bump, but is acting normal. Should I call the vet?

Pet's info: Dog | French Bulldog | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 12 days old | 12 lbs

My almost 5 month old puppy was running around the room and under the bed very fast when she hit her head. There’s a small bump on the top of her head. She’s acting normal, walking normal and doesn’t bother her when we touch the bump. Should we take her to the vet?

Hello and thank you for reaching out to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. As long as she is acting normally and doesn't seem painful when your touch her head, she should be OK! Dog's heads are very sturdy and can withstand a fair amount of force. If she ever seems to stumble around or have trouble walking, or does not want to eat or starts vomiting, she should be evaluated. Otherwise, she should be just fine! I hope this is helpful!
