My dog yelps in pain when touched. Can I get help with vet bills?

My chihuahua yelps out when being picked up and even if we try to sit next to her. It seems as if something is wrong with her back end/hind legs area I hate to see my baby in pain but can't afford the Vet visit. Please help. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | unspayed | 8 years and 6 months old | 5 lbs

Poor Rocsi. She really does need to see a vet for this problem, as there are no OTC pain medications you can give her. If paying for a vet is an issue, you can see if your vet accepts payment plans, if there is a low cost clinic in your area, or you can apply for Care Credit online. There is also an organization called Red Rover that give grants for treatment of sick animals, and you can see if you qualify for one of their grants.
