Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | 9 months and 3 days old
My little rescue kitten has been with me from she was 3months old. Took her to the vet she is now 9months to get her spayed. Never been outdoors. The vet discovered ear mites and sent her home with canural ear drops to be administered twice daily I missed this mornings dose as i wasnt at home. But gave her a dose at 6pm. Should i give her a 2nd dose this evening. Also been looking up online and says i should clean her ears before giving her eardrops my vet didnt mention this.

If it is very close to Trixie's next dose you can just skip the dose and resume the regular dosing at her next time. Cleaning the ears can help the medication take hold a bit better and make it more effective. A pet ear wipe or cotton balls with ear wash can be used to gently clean out the ears before placing medication.
