Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Female | spayed | 1 month and 15 days old
My puppy after her 1st shot is continuously vomitting for 3 days & dint eat anything till now & she is on drips. Doctor said it might be parvo disease but her stools are normal & he also said that it might be abdominal problem bcuz she is having pain whn diagnosed,So doc suggested to give sucrafil.Will she get back to normal state sooner? i m really worried.Doc also did blood test & said she is anemic Hb is 8 & packed cell volume is low & wbc count is quite high! Will she get fine?pls tell me!

Hello. I wish I could promise you that everything will be OK, but nothing in life is guaranteed. Sucrafil is sucralfate, a common medication that coats the stomach to either prevent or treat ulcers. It should make Chucky feel better. If she is in the hospital & receiving around the clock care, then she is probably in very good hands. Waiting to see if she will survive this infection is sometimes the hardest thing to do, but it does take time for infections to go away.
