Why is my dog losing chunks of fur from her leg? Should I see a vet?

I was looking at my dogs fur & noticed I was able to pull out chunks of fur from her thigh. Is that normal? Should she be seen by a vet? (I understand shedding is normal, but I’m able to get hair off of her specifically her leg in chunks.). Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 1 year and 3 months old | 50 lbs

Well this could be Mocha's winter coat shedding, and when my Chow sheds heading into summer, I can get big chunks out as well. Without seeing her in person, I can't say for certain if it's normal or not, so I'd have her checked out by a vet to be safe. Best of luck.
