Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 6 lbs
Hi, I hope this is ok to ask you, I have been looking to get a kitten/cat, I have been looking on all the rehoming charity sites. My friend has a brother who needs to rehome 4, 1 year old cats, although they stay indoor the vast majority of timethey have had access to outdoors, If i was to take 1 or 2 of them they would have no outdoor access, would this be too upsetting for them? I only want to do whatever is in their interest

Making them completely indoor cats would actually be doing them and the local wildlife a favor. Cats get hurt by other animals, hit by cars, lost, and exposed to diseases when allowed to roam outdoors. They may not like it at first if they were especially fond of going out, but they will learn and adapt and some even come to prefer it. Make sure they have plenty of perches and places to climb and look out windows, if they can have access to a porch that is fully enclosed they would enjoy that as well,
