My Maltese has a hard, growing head lump. What can I do myself?

my maltese has a lump on his head. there is only one. does not seam to bother him or have any pain. does seam to be growing. hard to the touch. I dont have a lot of money so is there any thing i can do myself?

Many skin lumps are benign and do not need treatment. I would take a photo of it and measure it so you know how fast it’s growing over time. If it gets bigger or starts to bother him then I would take him in for an exam. You can try applying a thin film of cortisone cream on it and that may help reduce inflammation in it if there is any.
