My dog is limping, can't put weight on his back leg. Is it broken?

My dog jumped up on me and landed weirdly on his back leg he's now limping and can't walk on it he didn't make any noises when he landed could it be broken? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 28 lbs

Hi there and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Oh dear! I'm sorry this happened. Yes, it is possible there is a fracture. Ligament or tendon injury could also have occurred as well. I would recommend Dougie see his veterinarian as soon as possible for an exam and potential x-rays of the leg if Dougie's vet suspects a fracture. I hope this helps and best to you and Dougie!
