My dog won't drink water when I'm on vacation. Will she be okay?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 9 years and 2 months old | 4 lbs

Next Friday around 4 pm I will be leaving to go on vacation. I should get home on Sunday around the same time. Precious will be staying home. She’ll have a good supply of both food & water. My main concern is her actually eating/drinking it. She usually likes to eat when I’m in our room with her. I can hide a few treats in her food so she will eat. However, what can I do about water? Would she be okay if she doesn’t drink it? Because she’d probably just be bored & lay in bed instead of play

IF she needs water and becomes thirsty she will drink, do not worry about that just leave several bowls of water, i usually even leave a large salad bowl filled with water when i leave for more than 24 hours.
