My rat bites everyone who visits, but never me. Why is this?

My rat Shadow bites everyone but me. Why? Pet's info: Small Animal | Unknown - Small Animal | Female | unspayed | 10 months and 17 days old

He probably likes you and you are part of his rat pack. He may be afraid of other people and therefore bites them as a sort of defense, Other people smell different. Rats do not tolerate other rats that smell different, so she may only tolerate people who smell like her or you.
