My cat's rib is broken, no vet available. What first aid can I give?

Hi. rib cage of my cat is broken now. And I can't access to my vet. Please help me . What can do for him

I'm so sorry to hear that this has happened to Mely. There really aren't any over the counter pain medications that are safe for cats (they mostly cause liver failure). Wrapping her chest with a bandage may help keep her more comfortable, HOWEVER if you wrap too tight she won't be able to breath so be very careful if you try this and check her every 30-60 minutes to make sure she's struggling to breath. I hope you can get to the vet soon so she can be taken care of.
