Why is my dog constantly flapping ears, but shows no pain or smell?

She constantly flaps her ears. She does not seem to be in pain, her ears don't smell to indicate any infection. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 1 year and 1 month old | 40 lbs

I would recommend a vet visit to have the deeper part of her ears examined and a sample from her ear canals looked at under a microscope. Usually lots of ear flapping indicates a problem, but if you're catching it before it's a raging infection, that's great!
