Pet's info: Dog | Goldendoodle | Male | neutered | 7 months and 1 day old | 29 lbs
My mini goldendoodle (1y 7m) is very laid back & loving. He comes to the office with me every day since he was a puppy. He loves people & other dogs. He never used to bark, but is often babysat with dogs that do. When he is in the office with me, he likes the couch facing the door. Some people come in and he does nothing- but recently he will growl at some people (even that he is familiar with) and bark at some. There doesn't seem to be a pattern. How do i correct this?

For the barking you can use a Sonic Egg which is a portable anti bark device. I would discipline him with a deep no when growling so you don't encourage this behavior. He's at a protective stage in his development so I recommend obedience training in a group setting to improve his confidence and his bonding and listening to you. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to help you care for Teddy.
