Dog sneezed out bordetella vaccine. Is he protected from kennel cough?

Gave bordetella intranasally and he sneezed some out when I put some in. Then went back again and put in more of the dose. Most of the dose went in but some came out, is he protected? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 months and 4 days old | 13 lbs
