This morning I was cleaning my rabbits and I found an insect. It was black and about 2 cm longs and very small. My rabbits are indoor bunnies. My rabbits seem fine but how would I know if the insect bit them

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! An insect bite would appear as a pimple or hive in the skin. However, not all insects bite and only a small number of them carry diseases. I recommend keeping a close eye on your bunnies for an signs of itching, loss of appetite, or abnormal bowel movements.
