My 6-month husky puppy is vomiting undigested food. Vet needed?

My 6 month husky has vomited a total of 6 times today. The last 4 times have been in the last 2 hours and her vomits consist of food that hasn’t been digested. She is drinking water. But not what she normally drinks

Oh no, poor Sophie! Vomiting undigested food can be indicative of a serious medical problem such as pancreatitis or a foreign body lodged in her GI tract. It could also be that she ate something rotten or could have a severe GI illness. Given that she has vomited four times in two hours and is vomiting undigested food, I feel the best thing for her is to take her into a vet right away. The vet can do a physical exam, blood tests, urinalysis, and possibly x-rays to diagnose what is causing her vomiting. Once a cause is found, the vet can discuss treatment options which may include IV fluids and a shot to stop the vomiting. Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website. I hope this helps, best of luck with Sophie!

Poor puppy! 3 times in such a short time frame is a bit excessive and worrisome . However it is good that she is having normal bowels, as this rules out a complete intestinal obstruction, although a partial obstruction is still possible and should be considered for any puppy with excessive vomiting of undigested food. However the delayed vomiting could also indicate she has a bought of ileus (delayed stomach and intestinal motility). If she is stable otherwise (pink gums, normal breathing, alert and responsive), then you can wait another hour or so and see if she stops the vomiting. At which point I would recommend fasting her (water only, no food) for roughly 4-6 hrs (no longer bc she is a pup) and then offering her small amounts of boiled plain chicken and rice or cottage cheese. You can also try slightly warmed cans of baby food. While she is being fasted, offer her small amounts of Pedialyte via syringe or small turkey baster to help combat any dehydration. Puppies get dehydrated

My Husky x bangkaew mixed dog has been vomiting 8 times today 1st and 2nd's vomits are solid. The rest times are all watery vomit and won't eat anything even his favourite snack . What should I do? Please help .
Profuse vomiting is a concern and can rapidly lead to dehydration. Obstruction from a foreign body, severe gastroenteritis or pancreatitis are all possibilities and i recommend a vet check as soon as possible for antinausea medications and possibly an xray to rule out bowel obstruction

My daughter brought home a husky puppy, he is two months old. On the night of arrival, i notice has had diarrhea, it comes out like tap and had once vomitted, what should we do
As a first approach I would suggest to withhold food for the next 8-12 hours and then start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 48hours. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days. I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up if the signs persist or you notice more diarrhoea and vomiting, lethargy or inappetence. My Serbiran Husky is throwing up all her food with white foam. Sometimes it's clear with a little bit of foam. Then other times it's food with a lot of foam.
Poor Hazel sounds like she is quite ill at the moment! If she has been vomiting for more than 24 hours, or she has vomited multiple times in an hour, then you can try a home remedy. Otherwise, you need to take her into a vet right away. Home remedy: Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, she vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, Hazel will need to see a vet right away.

I am sorry to hear about Loki. There are many possible causes for vomiting, ranging from dietary indiscretion (basically eating something he shouldn't have that upset his stomach), ingestion of a foreign object (common in young dogs), GI parasites, gastroenteritis, and more. If they are active today and not acting ill otherwise, you can try fasting them (nothing orally- no food or water) for 8 hours. Keep them indoors and if outdoors under supervision so they don't eat grass or anything outside. Then you can slowly reintroduce small amounts of water and then food. If the vomiting continues, they become lethargic, they develop bloody diarrhea or blood in vomit, then a visit to the vet is needed.

I would recommend bringing Onyx to your veterinarian. He is going to need supportive care including fluids and medication. He may need diagnostics including x-rays looking for a foreign body or blood work looking for pancreatitis. I would not wait much longer to bring him to the vet so he doesn't get any worse. I have a 8 week old husky wolf mix and she's had dihreah for a couple of days but with no blood and she's throwing up for the first time should I be concerned ?
Yes, I would be concerned, as it's not normal for a puppy to have diarrhea for a couple of days, and to then start vomiting. I would have Sasha seen by a vet today. These symptoms could be caused by GI illness, eating something rotten, intestinal parasites, a foreign body, or parvovirus (even though you haven't seen blood in it). The vet can do a physical exam, blood tests to check for parvo and to see if infection is present, and a urinalysis to diagnose what is causing her symptoms so she can be treated.

Hi, I have an 8 week old husky we just got today and he keeps scarfing down his food and vomiting loads. I had to clean at least several piles. It's very late now and I don't know what to do. Thank you!
I would feed him very small portions. If he keeps it down, he can have a little more. You can also try feeding a bland diet of boiled chicken, hamburger, or turkey and rice. If the vomiting continues he should be seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible as he may have a serious medical condition.

My husky is 3 months and has all her shots. Yet she threw up like mucus kinda but shes been acting fine and is exercising just fine. She’s not acting any different. Should I be concerned?
I'd be concerned in that vomiting isn't normal, but since Bandit is otherwise acting fine, I can give you a home remedy for her. Withhold food for 6 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, she vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away. Why is my 3 yr old Alaskan husky vomiting yellow bile, and why are her stools runny and bloody, and why will she not eat or drink?
Poor Medusa! Just like humans, there are many many causes of vomiting and some of the causes can be very serious. The blood in the stool is concerning for a more serious cause of illness. I recommend to have Medusa examined today by the veterinarian.
