My cat is still sick after antibiotics, has muted voice, can't vomit.

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 1 year old | 3 lbs

My cat Winnie is sick for 2 weeks.We went to vet and they used antibiotic treatment for 5 days.But he is still sick.His voice is been muted.Also he can not puke every time he try to puke.Is there anything we can do?And what is this disease?Please help us

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I'm sorry that Winnie is so sick. I would recommend taking him back to the veterinarian to look for other causes of his illness. If he is not eating much that can cause him to attempt to vomit but not bring anything up. The veterinarian may recommend doing further diagnostics such as bloodwork or xrays to figure out what is wrong with Winnie. Viral disease, toxin ingestion, GI blockage can all cause illness with vomiting, so Winnie really needs further diagnostics for the best chance at successful treatment. I hope he's feeling better soon.
