My cat ate her kitten. Is it safe to leave the other one with her?

Found a stray cat in basement, it ate its litter except for one yesterday. do we leave that kitten with momma cat or remove it before she eats it as well? its currently in a box not too far away from her.

Hi and thank you for using PetCoach. I would recommend removing and bottle raising the kitten. Please also catch and spay the mom as soon as you are able, as she may go into heat again quickly.
