Why is my cat pulling out fur from his back and legs when grooming?

My cat is chewing/pulling out his fur on his body. Most targeted is on its back and front legs. Whenever he grooms himself, he pulls his fur out. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 4 years and 11 months old | 7.5 lbs
