My cat pooped fur. Is this a hairball? What can I do until the vet?

he has done a poop and there seems to be fur in it! i have tried him on some pumpkin soup made only for cats and some fresh mince! he only had a little! our vets do not open untill tomorrow ! Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered

Hello, I am sure Ebony will be fine until you can get to the vet tomorrow. The vet can give you a hairball remedy to use which may be more helpful than pumpkin soup and mince. I would not give him anything else at this stage. Best wishes!
