Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 20 lbs
We recently rescued a medium-sized stray. We are not sure how old she is or whether she has ever had vaccinations. She just finished her heat. Last weekend her eyes became bloodshot, which was most noticeable in her light-blue eye. She was also a little sluggish and not eating as much as normal. Over the last week, she's become increasingly lethargic. She only moves to go outside to the bathroom. She started vomitting last night and will not eat/drink today.

Poor Ladybug! She sounds very ill at the moment, and given that she was a spay and you don't know if she was vaccinated or not, she could have a serious disease such as parvovirus causing her symptoms. She is also intact, and she could be suffering from a pyometra, which is an infection the uterus that is fatal without treatment. She sounds very sick, and I feel she needs to see a vet immediately. I would not wait any longer, I would consider this a medical emergency. Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website. Best of luck!
